GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Each team plays 9 games on full regulation size turf field at Rochester Institute of Technology
  • Men’s league games are played on Wednesday or Thursday nights (with exception of 2 weeks where games will be played on a Monday), starting between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.
  • This league is open to all participants 17 years and older.
  • Team rosters must have at least 21 players.
  • League play will begin in June and continue through the middle of August. Consisting of a regular season, playoffs and championship.
  • The men’s rules explain all important information and should answer all questions.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  1. To register your team, please have your team manager complete the “Team Registration Form” by selecting “Captain” on the Men’s registration page.
  2. Following the registration of your team, each individual player is required to register for their designated team on the “Player Registration Form” by selecting “Member” on the Men’s registration page.

 

***If you do not have a team but would like to play this summer, please register under the “Free Agent Registration” by selecting Free Agent on the Men’s home page. If we receive enough free agent requests we will create a team “all large team”.

LEAGUE FEES

Early registration (Before May 1st) – $70
Late registration (After May 1st) – $85

CHANGES FROM SUMMER 2011

Each team will be given 4 extra team jerseys. The jerseys will be used for “fill in” players or if players forgotten or misplaced their original jersey. Therefore, no player can play without a team issued jersey! No excuses. All team issued jerseys will be handed out and distributed by the manager on the first day of the league.

 

The Performance bond.
The bond will serve as two functions.
1) Secure’s your team’s spot in the league (DUE TO HIGH LEVEL OF INTEREST, THERE IS LIMITED TO THE NUMBER OF TEAMS)
2) Ensures you will play your full 9 game regular season and playoffs.

 

A check made out to “The Great Upstate Lacrosse League” will be required to be submitted by your team captain upon competition of the team registration form in order for you team members to begin registration. The check will be return to the team captain upon completion of the season, if your team does not forfeit any games. The check will not be cashed unless there is a forfeit by the team. (Note: In 2011 only one team would have been effected by this rule)
